Welcome to ADPi at Boston University 

On May 15, 1851, Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald and five other women founded the first ever secret society for women. The Adelphean Society, later renamed Alpha Delta Pi, was formed for “the mental, moral, social, and domestic improvement of its members.” As an international sorority, Alpha Delta Pi is committed to sisterhood, values and ethics, high academic standards, and social responsibility.

A Letter from our President…

Welcome to Rho Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi! At such a big university, it is extremely easy to feel alone, especially during freshman year. Balancing a rigorous course load all while trying to make life long friends seems almost impossible during the first few months at school. When I came home to ADPI, everything fell into place. Not only did I find those friends but I found a support group to guide me through these four years in and outside of the classroom.

Now more than ever, it is so important for us to support one another. We only grow when we realize that other women have never been and will never be our competition. ADPI has shown me the importance of empowering, supporting, inspiring and celebrating women. When wearing my letters, I feel most connected to our diverse community of accomplished female leaders who are actively impacting the world we live in.
